General Information

  • Online registration will close at noon the day before each event. Day of registration will be available, but will cost an addition $10.

    • A USA-Cycling license is required for participation in all cycling events.

    • Yearly Licenses can be purchased at USAcycling.org, or within the online registration process.

    • Yearly Licenses can be purchased on the day of the event at day of registration

  • All weather decisions will be sent out via the NOS Newsletter, Social Media, and the email you provide during registration.

    • Weather cancelations will be made no later than 1 day prior to the event.

    • If a race is to be delayed, that update will be made before 6AM on race-day.

    • All races that happen before June 29th will use June 29th as their rain date.

    • All events happening after June 29th will use September 14th as their rain date.

  • Check-in for each event will end 15 minutes before each event

    • If registering at the event, please arrive at the registration table at least 30 minutes in advance.

  • All podium presentations will happen within 30 mins of the final finisher crossing the line. Please look at each event’s schedule for an approximate podium presentation schedule.

Race Rules

  • A helmet must be worn at all times while riding a bike

  • If you wish to pass make your presence known! Ask to pass, and make sure the other rider is aware of you.

    • If someone is asking to pass, you must let them pass. If you are leading a race or in contention for a podium spot, hold your line and do not interfere with a rider attempting to pass.

  • Head phones cannot be used during any race.

  • Hand-ups, and assistance with a mechanical issue are allowed only in the feed-zone.

  • Food, drink, wheels, and other items can be placed in the feed zone before a race and can be used during the race. If the item isn’t in the feed-zone before the race begins, you cannot use it.

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior will result in a DNF or withholding of series points. This is our umbrella policy rule, don’t make us use it.
